How To Join/Post
To post you have to sign up. Once you've signed up and make your first post you're a member. Simple as that. You're first post is what gets your name on the list, no need for permission of any kind. So off you go...  Knock yourselves out!!
Edited to say, you may have problems signing up with a regular or even semi-common name. This is because every single forum on runboard is connected and when you sign up for us you're actually signing up for all of them. That's a lot of people. Keep at it, you'll get there but it just may take a few tries.

Go to your control panel, the link is on the top of your page and there are options there to change your password and maybe even your screen name (vain dame)

You know, I tried that and it wouldn't let me change my screen name, even tho the option was there. I was able to change the password. I'll give it another shot. Worse case scenario, I'll re-register and make sure I spell my darned screen name correctly!

i dont have the change sn option....
.....but it doesnt really matter as I wasnt plannin to change my sn.....
