Vain banner
I'm sure you all woke up this morning thinking I wonder how I could go about helping to promote Vain on my website, myspace profile etc. :rollleyes:
Well don't worry my lovelies, I'm here to help. ;)
The code below is for a banner with a link to davyvain.com (the same as in the links at the bottom of the page) so if you paste it on a myspace profile or anywhere that uses html code it will show up as such.
<table class="linkstable" border="1">
<tr>
<td class="OFFICIAL VAIN SITE"><a href="http://www.davyvain.com"target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/imnotwearingahat/random%20rubbish/vainofficialsite.jpg" width="257" height="100">
</a></td>
</table>
Also, I'd like some help if possible from anyone who can either:
1. Make better banner designs to use than me (not hard, I'm crap).
2. Enlighten me as to how I can post that code on myspace so that it shows up as html code for other people to use and not the actual banner.

What you can do is put in some ****'s like that so the code doesn't work properly and instruct people to copy it but remove the ****'s themselves
btw I'm not cursing, i mean use stars

Re: Vain banner
I've tried doing similiar things but it tends to show up as
******
******
******
banner
******
******
and then it becomes that time where I could use some stars to censor my verbal reaction. ;)
I'll have a go at breaking the code down even further, hopefully that'll work without being too confusing.

Re: Vain banner
You may want to ask Vainiac. I know he's a busy guy, but he's pretty good at that stuff and had created a banner for me that I used on the Ratt forum.

I just checked it on the net, wrapping the code with <PRE></PRE> seems to work. Hope it does...
