Can anyone advise why my board doesn't show up on a RunBoard search even though the word being searched is top of the board keywords section. The search brings up various other boards but not mine.

I have both "Deep" and "Purple" in the keywords section and putting "Deep Purple" into the search brings up various boards but not mine.
Any ideas why?

It depends on when you look with RunSearch. We update the whole thing about twice a month and have a "find new boards" specific function that is run on occasion as well. I just did a complete update last night about 1:00 AM (CST) so if you looked prior to that and your board is less than two weeks old you would not have seen it unless someone added it manually (like Vegas did for you).

Recently its been more than twice a month.
You should be able to add it manually at any time using the Submit link.
But it should be indexed within RunSearch already.

The pic pulled from my main page has not updated for some time.
It still shows the Christmas theme that has been deleted for over 3 months.
Any thoughts?

Thumbnail pics should be up to date now.
Complete update of the RunSearch database just completed as well
Made another complete update today pulling in all new boards (as of May 24, 2008)...

I have started a complete board update, this catches all boards currently in the system so you will notice the number of Runboards growing and shrinking for the next couple of hours...

The good news is that we have the RunSearch engine back and we have done a complete update so all boards that are not flagged for some reason should now show up in a search.
I am still working on getting our thumbnails back so stay tuned
