Hele Res 0-2 Newton 66
With a depleted team we were poor in the first half but improved in the second after starting to play some better football.
Despite not playing well we never really looked like conceding and should've scored a lot more goals with the chances we had, most notably Jamie Meaden missing after rounding the keeper and shooting wide from around 6 yards - truly unbelievable!
Team: Kinsman, Partyka, Bishop, Holmes, Hart, Peart, Moore, Reed, Allen, Meaden & Waldron. Subs Used: Streeter, Crane & Fisher.
Goals: Waldron & Reed
MOM: Waldron
Looking forward to picking from a full squad in the next weekends.

Buckland Res 7 - 3 Paignton Villa
Probably our worst performance of the season!! We really were poor loose passes, panicking on the ball and giving away silly balls but still scored 7 and should have been more!!to be fair i think we thought it would be an easy game seeing that they are bottom of the league but there a battling side and never gave up and new signing jay morgan whovhad a good game was a handful for our defenders. We had oz missing however goals from myself, cooty, pike, scott and a luke crowson hatrick sealed the points and we look forward to a big herald cup game at kingsteignton next week.
I have to mention paul scotts goal as u will probably here about it soon enough!! From a villa corner i cleared it and rolesy picked it up on the halfway line only to skin 2 players down the left wing and finally put the cross in for who!!!! Paul scott our centre half who had ran the length of the pitch to slide and volley home his first goal of the season!!Next week he is away as he is competing in the 100m sprint for great britain in the athletics!!!!
Jail ale MOM - Luke Crowson for his hatrick

Harbertonford 0 Ipplepen 5
well done to Ipplepen. they deserved to win and look worthy table-toppers. A good young side with a lot of pace up front.
0-5 was a bit harsh on the Fords though..0-2 would have been a fair reflection. 3 goals came late on in a 5 minute spell..the fords looked knackered and fed up by then. It was unforunate that the Fords were missing 3 key players through injury at the start and then lost Thommo through injury early on.
Corries 2 Harbertonford Res 1
The knock on effect of first team injuries is reserve player call ups that deplete the ressies of their best players. The ressies paid the price at the Stoodley Knowle stadium to complete a miserable afternoon for the Fords club.
At least Fords Boss managed to get the clubhouse telly to work so the day wasn't a complete disaster!

Re: Results 17th Oct
Didnt know they had an OAP's Great Britain team in the athletics 100 metre sprint Benny?
Dont quite know how Scotty got up there, must have been on your back for the majority of the length of the pitch!
Still, good finish but i dont think he was happy with the MOM award!

Chagford 3 vs 2 East Allington
Thought we were a little unlucky not to get something out of the game especially having been 2-1 up and having hit the woodwork on a few occasions but we conceded 2 goals in about 2mins for Chagford to win the game.
Well done to them in a well contested team with both teams playing some decent stuff.
Also just want to say how brilliant the pitch was looking and it was excellent to play on!
So all credit to the Chagford groundsman!

Re: Results 17th Oct
Many thanks Acw8 - our man does a pretty good job for us eh? No you can't sign him!
I heard it was a decent game played in the right spirit although you guys rather let us off the hook. A big three points for us but we still need to knuckle down and cover two very big gaps from a couple of fine players leaving.

Re: Results 17th Oct
Yeah he certainly does! Best pitch i have played on in ages!
We did a bit the 3rd goal was quite poor that we conceded seeing as it came from our corner but was pleasing the way we tried to play football especially with our team having a number of last years reserve team in it having lost a few players over the summer and missing 4 of the first team squad.
If we play like that each week hopefully the results start to come.
Also thought the ref had a decent game.
