We're sad to say that due to schedules and work loads we've decided to close The Realm. Dark Eden Press closing

I'm very sad. My publisher for The Vicar's Vixen is closing as of April 1st. The owner has serious health issues and needs to spend her energy concentrating on them (understandably). The bright spot in the whole thing is, despite a spate of epubs going under in a secretive and difficult way for their authors and readers, it sounds like Dark Eden is doing it the right way - professionally. I heard about this. I have some other online friends with them and it's sad all around. I hope the owner recovers. And I hope the DEP authors find new homes soon.

It is sad all around. Deb Durham (the owner) is handling it with rare professionalism and care for her authors, so I suspect that those who choose to resell their works will be able to.

I reread my post and realized I sounded self-serving when I meant to be funny. The dangers of posting online. My apologies. emoticon

It didn't sound self-serving at all. I'vebeen trying to remember who all I know that has books there andno one is speaking up. Who knows, maybe a flood of purchases in this last week will help Deb out too.

I heard about this as well...I think it was on the RWC List. It's a sad time for everyone. I feel for the owner, I feel for the Writers, and I feel for the readers. :o(
