We're sad to say that due to schedules and work loads we've decided to close The Realm. However, if you would like an awesome community of writers to chat with and get to know check out the Romane Divas at www.romancedivas.com. They have tons to offer and a huge group of amazing writers! We will be moving some of the information we've put on the forum to our MySpace page, so if you want to keep up with us, check out our blog there. We'll be blogging there in addition to our personal blogs from now on. Thanks for hanging out with us. We hope to see you on the Web!

Yes, The Vicar's Vixen is a short I wrote late last year. It's fast and fun. I loved writing it. I was a total hipster doing it and it all came together in the end.

Thanks Dawn! I loved being in the group with you. Nice to connect up with you again!

That's great. :o) Yet another book to be added to the ever-growing pile. LOL I read a story out of Wild Things yesterday...four stories by Maggie Shayne, Marjorie Liu (Isn't that woman gorgeous? geez!), Alyssa Day and Meljean Brook. So far so good. I'm enjoying it.

Let us know when you are done reading it.
I'm still reading several books I haven't finished.
One on my bed stand, one in the bathroom, one in the study, hehe..... and one I'm reading during lunch break to do an interview for the Realm.... Dark Succubi......

I know this sounds crazy, but whenever I hit a wall in terms of creativity, I pick up a history book. History takes my mind away from the stress of trying to milk a dried up turnip, so to speak, and there's enough historical events that make me say "Man, I'm glad I missed the bus to that tour!" Sometimes, history can give you a new way of seeing things.

Another way to break the stress is to put your story on the shelf for a few weeks and read books by other authors, especially those who write in a different genre from you. lf you write in romance, then pick up a horror book or an anthology from your old lit class. You may find a writing technique that you can use in your story.
