Enjoy time with your Mom ....and good luck, if they decide to leave.
We have a cloudy day, with 65 degrees, high humidity, and threat of storms and rains.
Early, I started to go, and come to my house to the my Mom.

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
Happy Monday, all!
Mariel: I'm glad you're back to normal, but watch that you don't push yourself too hard taking care of everyone. Too bad your sister can't take off more time to help.
Aims: Sorry about the finger but glad Missy is back to her old self.
Mel: Sorry about Rod****, but it sounds like it was an epic match!
Queeny: Good luck with your painting. Glad the weather has cooled some for you.
We've got another gorgeous one here today.
Had a blast watching 1776 yesterday...what a great movie!
Now I'm back at my desk catching up with boards and working on the last two articles for my current batch.
Have a good one, everyone!

SUE I hope you've had a quiet day, friend. Good luck with writing your articles.
AIMS I am glad that you enjoyed Torchwood, friend. quote: Oh and the other night I had a dream where I was having an intense conversation with Bob Geldof, about what I cannot remember. When I finished talking with him I had to get the bus home, but I didn't have any money so I paid in slices of cucumber.
......
My dear QUEENY I think your Dad and your are very similar, Sister!
I trust that you can finish your work on the tub!.
Have a great evening and enjoy it. quote: But your weather is almost as crazy as your routine is...isn't 65 with high humidity rather warm for Winter?
Considering that this afternoon, we had 80 degrees, with 90% of humidity, I think our climate is also "normal" again.
I have done everything planned ,.... purchases for the two houses, the task of the school with the boys, some errands ,.... now relax until dinner time ...

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
Hey all. I've had a super busy few weeks. My daughters birthday was 2 weeks ago. Then we helped someone move. I also got a new job. Kinda stressful lol. I hate change sometimes. Thankfully I get the next few weeks to chill. I hope everyone else has been doing good!

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
Hello everyone
another nice day, Temps were in the 70's and sunny
Down to 48 now
Watched the first four episode of Deadwood's 2nd season today. Then I watched WWE Raw, not that bad tonight.
Not sure what I'll be doing yet Tuesday, I suspect there will be a trip into town.
I'm trying to work on new sigs, have some done but it's taking a while.

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
Just a quickie to let you know I am alive but work is going to be manic this week as there are people either ill with swine flu or under quarentine so we are under staffed. I might not get online this week unless I happen to be quarentined as well - which I hope DOESN'T happen!
AIMS - Wactched Torchwood and I thought it was brilliant. Should be good all week.
QUEENY - Just under 4 hours I think but the match was fantastic tennis.
See you all at the weekend at the latest.

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
GOOD TUESDAY MORNING MY FRIENDS! HAPPY JULY 7th....
OKAY, before I say morning to everyone.....has anyone heard anything on any other site from or about GRANNY??? She seems to have been gone an awfully long time. With me being here and doing so much stuff I lose track right now........but I'm starting to get worried....
Good Morning Becky
DATA crunching?? Now that is the ONLY crunches I'd do!
Hope you get it all done and enjoy playing...
Morning MEL
As I just saw your post on Twitter. Your roommate has the swine flu, so you are now quarantined. Not good lady.. Be safe..
OKAY...just previewed to see this and saw that you posted your quarantine....I'm glad you have time to post...but I shall worry about you until the time has passed and you are out of danger, my friend...
***HUGS***
HI YA RYAN
Nice comfortable temperatures. Hope you all keep those for the mid August time, when we'll be up at Cass Lake, MN...I'm afraid that after almost 2 years in the desert, the humidity will kill us! If the mosquitoes don't!
Anywho...enjoy your day, can't wait to see your new batch of sigs!
HI YA STORMY
First....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Second...sorry that your life has been so busy. I hope you get a chance to stop and smell the roses now. We miss seeing you HON...
Good Morning MARIEL
Yes, I believe you are right. My Dad and I are toooooooo much alike. Which causes more than our fair share of troubles!
Still need more work on the RV caulking. Got to hot in there yesterday!
So, 80 degrees with 90% humidity....girlfriend your whole world is crazy! EVEN YOUR FRIENDS!
Glad you got all the errands and chores done for BOTH houses yesterday. Try to get some relaxing moments in today ok?
HI YA AIMS
quote:
Oh and the other night I had a dream where I was having an intense conversation with Bob Geldof, about what I cannot remember. When I finished talking with him I had to get the bus home, but I didn't have any money so I paid in slices of cucumber.
What ever the hell you ate before bed.......DO NOT eat it again!
But I am glad you enjoyed Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood....at least that gives me hope that you are still somewhat sane!
GOOD MORNING LINDA!
STILL RAINING?!?!? Have you begun to grow webbed feet yet?
I hope it stops soon or you are right....there will be no summer!
Try to enjoy your day as much as possible.....might be hard typing if you are growing webbed fingers too!
As for me today...
Mom and I are running away.....well at least for a few hours. She needs to get away from grumpy old men! So we are going to check out some antique stores, do some other shopping and have lunch out. Then stop by Wal*mart on our way home to pick up the paint and stuff...
SO.....I probably will not be back ONLINE TODAY....Sorry gang......once we leave here, I'll be able to be online during the week much longer!

the virus, live up to 10 hours, friend.
The infected person, is contagious 1 day before symptoms manifest, and up to 21 days, while I have the disease.

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
Happy Tuesday, all!
Storm: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope it's a wonderful one!
Linda: I can't believe you're still having rain! We've been spoiled with a few gorgeous days but we're supposed to get more rain later today.
Mel: Stay safe, stay healthy!
Mariel: Glad that everything seems to be be back to "normal". Keep taking care of yourself!
Rogue: That was a good RAW...having The Million Dollar Man back was a blast from the past. Very cool!
Queeny: Sounds like you've got a great day planned - enjoy! And no, I haven't seen or heard anything from Granny for several days now. Hope everything's ok.
We've got a hot one here...was already 82 when I went for my walk earlier. Supposed to cool some after the thunderstorms hit later today.
I'm at my desk catching up and getting ready to start a new batch of articles.
Have a good one, all!

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
Hi Everyone,
I hope this post finds everyone well, to be honest I did not read to far back.
Mariel, I am so glad that you and your family are doing much better. Talk about a scary time.
Queeny, so glad to hear your mom is doing better and getting around more. Sounds like you have been busy but also sounds like you are having a good time with your family :)
Everyone else hope all is well and you are having a great day.
As for me, I am healing, thanks to the pain meds LOL the navel area is doing good but it is my ribcage that is killing me. But of course when you have something cut out it is going to hurt LOL I have been doing alot of sleeping pretty much slept the weekend away.
The tests came back negative and turns out they were not tumors but cysts. (sigh of relief) So this week I am weaning myself off from the meds and hoping to get back to normal. We are planning on this weekend for the garage sale. All is ready.
Hope you all have a great day
Hugs

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
MEL....
Mariel is right....it can last much longer than an hour. This WEBSITE (link) is from the NHS in the UK...
quote: How long does the virus live on surfaces?
The flu virus can live on a hard surface for up to 24 hours, and a soft surface for around 20 minutes.
What is the incubation period for swine flu?
According to the Health Protection Agency, the incubation period for swine flu (time between infection and appearance of symptoms) can be up to seven days, but is most likely to be between two and five days. It is, however, too early to be able to provide details on virus characteristics, including incubation period, with absolute certainty at this time.
Key actions
Swine flu is spreading fast in the UK with several hundred new cases being confirmed daily. Prepare now:
* Establish a network of "flu friends" - friends and relatives - who can help if you fall ill. They could, for example, collect medicines and food for you
* Make sure that you have an adequate amount of paracetamol-based cold remedies in the house in case you become ill
So you be careful.....
Bellia...HI YA HON
I am so glad to hear you are healing up and that those were NOT Tumors and the tests are all negative!
That eases my mind, more than you know...
Don't push yourself to do to much, to soon. When you feel tired, sleep. Sleep is the bodies way of healing faster...
Good luck if you decide to go ahead with the garage sale....just don't push yourself too hard, Hon.
HI YA SUE
Oh I sure hope you do not have any severe storms. Son said they got nailed night before last, said it felt like hurricane force winds.....thunder, lightening and buckets of rain...
So you be safe if storms come...
Yeah...I'm a bit worried.....I wish Cowboy would at least come tell us something... Anywho....you be careful, and have a good evening!
HI YA PAT
quote: Good afternoon, had a lot of thunder and rain today we have floods all over the place.
OH DEAR! You be careful! And don't go out in the floods, Lady
MARIEL...
quote: quote:
So, 80 degrees with 90% humidity....girlfriend your whole world is crazy! EVEN YOUR FRIENDS!
He is absolutely right!.
Best kind of friends to have, and by the way, it takes a crazy friend, to KNOW a crazy person!
Hope you did not work too hard today my friend. Have a great evening being a teacher!
As for me..
Just got back from shopping with MOM. We had a blast....laughed the last few hours! Found some cheap lace dresser runners to make curtains out of for my RV bathroom..as I hate that metal mini blind....and stopped for lunch at this little mom and pop place and had what had to be the biggest BLT sandwich and the best I've ever eaten!
But it was fun.....now I am going to make up a curtain and get through my emails...
MIGHT not be painting tomorrow like I wanted to because Dad said some of it had dry rotted and he needs to replace and use wood putty on a large section before we can paint... MEN.....whatever, when he gets that done....then I will paint!
Anywho...I am out of here for the night.....see you all tomorrow!

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
PAT I am glad to see you, dear. Your weather looks pretty bad ....be careful.
SUE I hope you not have, heavy storms, friend.
Good luck with your new articles.
BELLIA I am happy for you, that you feel better, and that the result has been negative! ....are very good news!!!!
Good luck at the garage sale!
My dear QUEENY I am glad that you enjoyed, shopping with your Mom, Sister ...and who have had fun. hifivgrl:
Good luck, to make the curtain.
I am also concerned about the lack of news from Granny ...I trust that she is well, and is only a problem with your PC.
I've completed shopping, errands, and the job of the school with the boys.
Yesterday, as another of the preventive measures against influenza A, decided to close the Casinos ,..... in this way, my mother in law "recalled", which has three grandchildren ...and has been the birthday of Martin, and this afternoon, has been home ....

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
Hello everyone
More cool temps today, watched the Micheal Jackson memorial, now I am a man who keeps his feelings in check and I haven't cried in years, not even when my Grandfathers died did I cry. But when Paris Jackson took the mike I came as close as I have ever come to shedding tears.
Also today I watched some Angel season 1.
Finished the sigs today, hopefully the next batch doesn't take as long
Not sure what I'll do tomorrow maybe watch more Angel then Ghost Hunters internatonal.
Have a good day

Morning all.
Mel, so glad to hear you are still doing good! I watched a few Supernatural episodes last night too. Phantom Traveler and Bloody Mary. :)
Bellia, that is great news about your tests! Now just take it easy and do not over do.
Mariel, hope you are having a good day and everyone is feeling better.
Queeny, haven't seen Granny around either. I sure hope she's ok....... How are things with you? Mom and Dad still working you and hubby to death?
I'm off to finish up and get some work done. Almost KILLED the boss yesterday.. Good thing they got the windows in cause if that big hole was still there I would have tossed him out.

VERY GOOD MORNING OF WEDNESDAY!!!
RYAN I agree my friend, the tribute to Michael Jackson, has been very exciting.
Have a great day, and good luck with the new siggy.
MEL I am glad that you feel good, and, taking all the precautions, friend.
Have a great day.
BECKY I hope your work day, is not too crazy, dear. quote: Almost KILLED the boss yesterday..
Try to curb your impulses, or are we going to have to make a collection for bail!
We have a day of sun but the temperature has dropped to 40 degrees.
More housework, and task of the school, of the boys, for me today ....
Everyone to have a wonderful day!

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING MY FRIENDS! HAPPY JULY 8TH...
Good Morning MARIEL
quote:
We have a day of sun but the temperature has dropped to 40 degrees.
Oh, so summer is gone again and now it is back to winter for you! You must feel like you are in a roller coaster ride!
quote: Try to curb your impulses, or are we going to have to make a collection for bail!
GOOD ONE!
Take care getting your tasks done today, and lets hope that you do not end up with a houseful of people, because every place is closed!
Good Morning MEL
quote:
Morning everyone. I feel fine this morning still so everyone can relax! LOL! After having read the stuff in this thread, I have taken to washing my hands everytime to leave my room so maybe once every 2 hours or so. Better to be safe than sorry.
We are a bit of a gang of worry-warts and overly protective aren't we??
Glad you are still feeling fine....keep it that way!
quote: QUEENY - Glad you had a great day with your Mom. Sorry about the men being difficult though.
YES THEY CAN! Probably a good thing, as it rained a bit this morning. Not supposed to, but you all know how perfect those weather people can be!
Anywho....take care MEL...and enjoy your Quarantine!
MORNING BECKY
Oh dear.....I hope the boss leaves you alone. I'd hate to have you mess up the new windows by tossing him through one of them!
(I just had the commercial of the people sitting around trying to figure out a way to cut costs...and the one guy says we could not have Bud or Bud light or whatever beer it is.....at every meeting....and they toss him out the window....chair and all, and he yells..It was only a joke!)
Mom and Dad's "Daughter-do" list is getting smaller and smaller... Still need to get the caulking out of the RV and redo that....not much room, should be fun on the old back. But we are having a bit more fun now that MOM'S new meds allow her to leave the house for more hours at at time....
HI YA RYAN
We did not watch the memorial, but last nights news had Paris on it...I imagine it was pretty tough..
I can't wait to get down in Talents and see your new sigs! Hope you have a good day my friend...
Good Morning AIMS
WOMAN....you and your dreams are very strange indeed! Perhaps that "finger bite" is giving you 'rat dreams'....who knows what they dream about!
Hope you have a fab day HON!
As for me today...
No painting.......need to do some laundry, and remove that old caulking from Mom and Dads RV....
OH and we have a new Birthday day in the IMPORTANT EVENTS ROOM...Helen (mamawolf)
So you all take care.....I'll check the rest of the site, my emails, my mod duties and hopefully get back in here this afternoon!

Re: JULY CHATTER! (Use Wednesday July 1st)
Happy Wednesday, all!
Mel: You can't take too many precautions. As long as you're staying safe and healthy, that's what counts! And at least it's giving you more of an opportunity to indulge your Supernatural addiction!
Rogue: Didn't watch the memorial, but I did see parts of it on the news including Paris' little speech and I have to say that choked me up too.
Mariel: Glad everyone continues to do well but I'm sorry that the state of things seems to be getting worse in your country. Hang in there!
Bellia: So glad your tests came back negative...what a relief! Take care and feel better.
Bec: Just give me some warning before you toss the boss and I'll have the bail money ready!
Queeny: Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I'm glad you're getting to enjoy some time with Mom.
Our thunderstorm amounted to about 5 minutes of rain yesterday and did nothing to cool things down...not that it's all that hot, it's actually been just about perfect.
Another beautiful one today...I'm off to finish catching up and get writing. Have a good one, all!
