Re: time

I don't think an individual user can change the timezone to reflect their own timezone. As far as I am aware the timezone is set by the owner of the board, and would probably be set to their own timezone.

At least thats how it was when I had my board here, I shall keep an eye out to see if it has changed though.

Re: time

I think Aims is right.....at least everyone that I've been to, seems to be set for "they're" time....
Maybe Vegas will see this and have a different answer... :sos

Re: time

I believe only Admin level & up can alter the time.

Confirmed:

Setting time can only be done at a board level.

if your a board owner/admin you can do it by going to

Control Panel > Select Board > Manage > Change Misc Options >

Re: time

But doesn't that just set the "board time" for where I am?
Anybody coming here from another time zone, would be wrong......cause they would see my time.... I'm confused...... emoticon Which is perfectly normal for me....

Re: time

That's correct just as my board is set to my time any number of other board owners will set their board to their time. I have several friends who are out of Australia and those that own board are a day ahead of me. Their time is actually 15 hours ahead of my own. When you have worldwide members it's kinda hard to set their clocks to your time. Most of them are long asleep when I am online.
