q loader
was wondering if anybody has seen one used or used one themsleves. and what everybody's opinion's of them are

I have one on an A-5.
Bad points:
1) Q-Pods only hold 100 balls. I never thought I would miss those 40 extra balls a standard pod holds.
2) The hose from the loader to the marker has to be perfect. If not the balls jam in the hose. After several attempts I had to call the manufacturer and ask if they had a suggestion. It helped a lot but it does jam from time to time.
3) I have pulled the delivery hose off a few times while playing, getting it cuaght on a tree branch or something. The paintballs empty out very quickly at that point.
4) The Q-Pods are expensive to buy. I have lost a few and just about cried (not really but it did piss me off). I even put my name and the team name I play for, I have never had one come back.
5) Filling the Q-Pods takes some practice to get it down. At first I could not find an easy way to hold the part you fill with the balls and work the handle you have to wind to compress the spring and load the balls. I usually have someone hold the carrier for me. I have seen people use battery hoppers in it's place.
Good Points:
1) Clean sights.
2) No spilling of paintballs when you need to reload. Twist and pull out the empty Q-Pod, insert new Q-Pod and twist.
3) Feeds well, I have an E-trigger on the A-5 and if I put it on full auto it keeps up and I have not chopped a ball. But the A-5 ROF is limited. May not be able to keep up with an electro.
If you want, at the next scenario stop by the Nemesis staging area and I will bring the A-5 with me and let you try out loading one of the Q-Pod and check out a Q-Loader for yourself. Send me a PM or something the day before to remind me.

I forgot, I have a Spec Ops Q-Bow as well that uses the Q-Loader system. It is a shame when you collect so many markers you forgot what you have.
