Great Game Blue and Red Team today! Post Game Report Ok, here it is. After a cold shower and 2 Advils. The Grim Reapers post game report.
Let me start off by thanking each and every Blue team player for giving it your all for the win today! Also want to thank Red Team for not making it easy for us either! Good job guys. It was hot and everybody gave it their all.
Special thanks to Ronnie of Team Soviet for serving as executive officer so I could get some play time in. I highly recommend that all future generals get an executive officer too. It worked very well.
Also have to say the guys on Team Soviet were there whenever a mission needed to be done. Couldn’t have won without them today. You guys are as good as any team on the field.
Team Nemesis as usual were playing very competitive and Rodeo is a sharpshooter with the nerf rocket! Also have to thank the other Nemesis guy (didn’t catch your name sorry) that pointed out the crates that only the General could unlock. The Grim was huffing and puffing for that one guys!
Lot’s of new teams playing today. When I first started playing scenarios 3 seasons ago there were a handful of teams. Now there are so many I’ve lost count. It says a lot about the field at OA and their staff.
Special thanks to the new team “Pine Valley Militia” my pick for Most Valuable Team for going on the attack in the morning and helping to get guys to get the flag at Lithuania, deep into Red Teams territory! Amazing job guys! I understand that Blue Team formed a line and just kept up the pressure to push Red back to get the flag.
I must say however I wish I could of picked several Most Valuable Teams because all rose to the occasion.
I want to thank the new team the “Ghost Bears” and “Team Ace” too! I gave Team Ace a commando mission to get across the field past the fuel depo into the woods at game start to help slow up Red Team and they accomplished it! That was quite a run! Great job guys!
Have to say great job to Red Team after the lunch break. You guys came back very strong. We were heavily outnumbered. Apparently a lot of Blue Team players left at lunch due to the heat. At one point I saw more Blue Team players going back for air and paint then I think we had guys on the field. I was starting to sweat it that first hour after lunch! Great job to all the Blue team players that gave every ounce of energy and held the fuel depo despite overwhelming odds.
Got to say that a Red Team player came up the tape line from the fuel depo that last 5 minutes of the game to my left flank and nailed me good. Good job to whoever that was.
Also have to say good job to the 3 Red Team players that last 20 minutes of the game that came down the tapeline and ended up at the Blue CP. I know the ref yelled at you for being too close to our CP. But our tent had already been taken down so I don’t blame you. It was a good move for you guys to get around us.
So now it sounds like one of those Emmy speeches that rambles on. So all I have to say now is that I’ve done my volunteer for General part. I’m passing the torch to the next guy…
And for all you Red Team players.. Well, you can always hook up with the Grim Reaper next time!
Re: Great Game Blue and Red Team today! Post Game Report Great Game To Both Teams And All Players.
Soviets Report:
Commander: Ronnie Reinhardt, XO ended up shooting a few red and not accomplishing many objectives but led the team/squads to a few objectives to hold the red back.
Medium Rifle: Joe Harp, MVP (Blue), Captured 4 gas cans in the first hour and 2 ammo cans in nightmare alley. Also, captured the heavy artillery in Nightmare Alley as well. He was the backbone of the Soviets today and I appreciate all of his hard work. For all you red who saw the big red soviet flag.... That was him.
Medium Rifle: Johnnie Truffer, Not much to say on this end of the deal but he helped all of us and ran around the field like a mad man doing whatever he could. He was always around and willing to do whatever he could. This is his second scenario.
But on another note. We couldn't have done it without the help of all you willing blue to stick around by us and fight by our sides. We were honored that we fought with such brave troops during that last battle.
Special Thanks to: Team Nemesis, Rodeo, And the big guy who I was always telling him that he was a great player and always to hurry. And all you red. Great game and always a pleasure to play against such a good team. And last but certainly not least....
OA PAINTBALL for putting on such a great scenario time and time again. We love playing with you all.
Re: Great Game Blue and Red Team today! Post Game Report Awesome job to both teams. I was a little worried near the end when you guys pushed and took the fuel depo. Btw I was that one blue who stayed hidden on the front of the depo and ran out of air a few minutes before game over. Team Ace did awesome for its first "true" scenario I must say as Team Captain and Ian did a great job filling in when I held the forest when they were needed elsewhere. Good job to both teams though it was a great game.
Re: Great Game Blue and Red Team today! Post Game Report Sigh... I can't believe we lost!
Great game Blue and Red teams, I saw some really stand-up play on both sides. I hope to see you guys at the next game in November.
Re: Great Game Blue and Red Team today! Post Game Report Thanks Grim for assignin me as Commander and really opening up the opportunites for Team ACE. Im glad we could help and we will see you at the next scenario game! GO BLLUEEEEE
Re: Great Game Blue and Red Team today! Post Game Report You're welcome Ziggyman! You and Team Ace did a great job as a special forces commando rapid reaction force!! Your team was instrumental in helping Blue Team seize the fuel depo and woods at game start! Hope we can hook up on the same side again.
Re: Great Game Blue and Red Team today! Post Game Report Great Game By Both Sides Again. But I Saw A Lot Of Teams Giving 100% And A Few Giving 10% And That Was Kind Of Disheartening But Unfortunatly Thats How It Works. I Haven't Heard Anything About Team Nemesis But You All Did A Fantastic Job (Like Always) But Still Well Played
