Have the "Generals" been picked?
Have the Generals been picked, or has it been decided to do without them?
Anybody hear any rumors?

From what I understand. There will not be generals. But sadly no one *looks at FFJim* Has given a response to that.

Re: Have the "Generals" been picked?
I stopped by the store today (Thursday 09AUG), Lee was out and the staff at the time stated they didn't know what was going on (don't want to name any names on the small chance the boss does read this forum).
I'm ashamed to admit that I had applied for the job, and was curious whom was in the hot seat, as I didn't want anyone upset with me not doing any planning with them if I'd been punished by actually getting the assignment and didn't know about it.
Let's hope it stays cool on Sunday.

Re: Have the "Generals" been picked?
The day as played last year using the beat the heat format was something like.
4 games each lasting 1 hour long, with 30 minute breaks in between. Thats the normal 6 hours filled.
No generals needed as the hour long games had set objectives that everyone could follow.
Leader type players useually take charge in that leadery type way that they do. Often teams form groups and everyone runs out to play paintball. From what I can remember no one was left out last year as everyone ran around playing paintball.
--- I feel sorry for harp players, because they are always inducing in themselves a sense of nostalgia.

Re: Have the "Generals" been picked?
All, OA has designated some names for Sunday. Blue (US) has the following names, if you know them, please tell them to check their email.
General Jamie Mixon, whom's vest tag is "TEHUANTEPECER", can't miss him, just look for the tall guy.
Commander Brian Withham
Commander Shane Stafford
Commander Corey Walsh

Jamie, the guys at the store delibrately don't know the details of the game. That way we aren't lying to someone that asks. Our craftier players have been known to attempt to gather intel...at the store.
