It has been the policy of Outdoor Adventures to adjust the playing field to game size for the last 3 years. This game will have about 250 players as opposed to 500+. In fact, it is a bit larger than the area we used last game. The main reason for doing so this game is player safety and enjoyment. First, we prefer to have a denser referee coverage so that we can easier detect any players having difficulty with the heat. Also, with a smaller field it is a shorter hike to the "fight".
