Borrowing a Phantom for Ocean Tiger 3?

Hi everybody. I've been playing pump for a little bit now with a stockclass feed and constant air. However, I would like to try out a fully stockclass gun, but I don't want it to be a pistol. So could someone loan me a VSC or RSC phantom or any kind of full stockclass gun, not a pistol, for the whole day or part of the day? I have my own 12 grams too. Also, if you have a stock on your stockclass gun that would be even better! (Man who is this selfish kid, shutup, I don't want to loan you my gun emoticon)But please I really would like to try it out if only for an hour or two.

could you explain what your definition of
'not a pistol' is, many people have different views on what a stock class pistol is.

I am not starting an argument here just wanted to know exactly what you are after so we could help you out.

Silly git, he said Phantom VSC (or RSC), so think of a comparable Nelson.

And yet he asked for a stock to be on it, can a pistol have a stock and still be a pistol? emoticon

Does a pug count as a pistol? What about a long barreled pug? Is a pgp a pistol if it has a stock on it......

The possibilities are endless emoticon

Quiet, you! Don't make me invite Niterocker and Shartley to this discussion.

I'd assume we rule out PGPs, but after that there is not much that distinguishes 'stock class' from 'pistol' unless you've got a KP-2SC to share. P68SC? Pug? PMI-I? Duck? Even a Phantom RSC is pretty pistol-y. How 'bout a Buzzard or Comp? Unfortunately the only spare SC guns I have are PGPs...

Well I have a PPS Paladin Pug but the 15 round side tube is spring fed, it also has a fasst 12gram changer and a 12gram drop-out feature (originally it was installed with an auto-trigger).

I guess I could remove the spring feed, substitue an old style 12 gram changer knob but the 12gram drop-out is a big problem. Maybe a bit of sheet tin and duct tape could be employed to cover it over in some fashion. This would make it stock class legal, Im really glad it doesnt have any porting in the barrel otherwise I would be filling in all those little holes with putty.

Its still a little short though, does anyone have a shoulder stock for it that would make it less pistol like?

Oh wait I do have both a vsc and rsc phantoms but they are not stock class so Im sure you wouldnt want to borrow either of those.

By "not a pistol" I meant a barrel longer than eight inches or eight inches. However, I know that you are going to say that a pistol has a 6-8 in. barrel and I know that, but I am talking about something like a Standard VSC or RSC phantom, or Grey Ghost <--Those are the type of stockclass guns I was talking about (Man, I go on the internet to get away from political correctness emoticon ) Anyways if you take the 12 gram changer off your Pug and put it on one of the phantoms, I have a stick feed that might fit on your phantoms. The stick feed is about 2 cm wide. Thanks for all the help so far emoticon

But a phantom is not stock class legal so I wont bother bringing one of those.

When I mean stockclass I mean 12 grams and a stick feed emoticon

Heh heh, just messin with ya a bit. In all seriousness, don't write off the PGP just because it is small. They may not be the perfect guns, but they still have the same 12g and 10 +/- shots as other SC guns, and can be tuned up nicely and are rock solid. They are fun as a primary.

Unfortunately, my Ghost is having some issues with the ASA & changer. Most of my other (working) pumps are direct feed and constant air, but I do still have that PGP...
