Refs
The reffing for Road Warrior was top notch! The refs were right on top of every situation and always around when you needed them. Thank you OA for providing us with such a competent staff and a safe place to play. My personal thank you to the ref at the fuel depot during the third mission who's prompt response to a player firing HOT kept the rest of the players safe.

Re: Refs
the refs did do a pretty good job, and i was at the fuel depot for the "hot marker" incedent. the ref was on the ball there, but on the other hand there were some refs out there that need to work on the reffing skills before the next game. i watched someone call a guy out on the bunker rule and the ref allowed the guy that got bunkered to shoot the guy that bunkered him after he was already called out. Over all i do agree that most of the refs were on top of everything and did thier jobs quite well

Re: Refs
I did hear of two incidents (did not happen near a ref) where a player got bunkered and then told the attacker that he was not out because bunker rules do not apply to scenario games!?! Somebody needs to read their rules sheet; this is a safety issue and APPLIES AT ALL TIMES.

I did not realize it but that was FFJim. I PM'd him about the incident that happened to you and he said that he was the ref at the end of the fuel depot down by the road towards River. Jim said that he personally checked everyone on the field and "has the welts to prove it" and said that everyone was below 280fps.

At this point in the game, I could have sworn that I saw Jim in a van, down by the River.

The bizarre/scary thing was, the van was a rockin' and despite many warnings, you STILL went a knockin'!!

Re: Refs
I was near that tipe of incident that your speaking of, and the player was even telling a reff that the bunker rule did not apply in scenario. I knew this was not true. OA rules apply to all games even scenario. And to make sure I was rite I called Jim to make sure, and he told me that YES bunnker rule does apply to scenario also. The thing is it was from a person I could not belive would say this. I will not give name or team he plays on, but it shocked me that he said it. I think it was the heat getting to him.quote: rodeo wrote:

You are right. One should see the truth in that old '70's phrase.

Re: Refs
Definitely a heat of the moment type situation - with all the paint flying around & the intensity of the situation, its easy to get your i's crossed & your t's dotted, instead of the other way around.
