Team Old Man Militia....
I'd just like to introduce ourselves on this forum. We are Team Old Man Militia. We are currently 7 members, with 5 "old" guys, ranging from 37 to 48 years old (I'm the younin', at 37) and 2 young guns, both 13 years old. We are a scenario paintball team and love to play the tactics of woodsball. Although we don't favor speedball, we are "okay", but we don't slide, as we might not get up afterwards.... We've played a few big scenarios, and were even fortunate enough to win Most Valuable Team for the German side at the MXS 26-hour Scenario - The Western Front. Our current home field is Hogback Mountain in Leesburg, VA, however, after playing walk-on at OA Paintball, this past weekend, we will probably be calling OA our "co-home field" as we think the field and staff are outstanding.
We are a relatively new team, having officially formed in January 2006. We've been very fortunate to play along some of the great teams, including Knight Stalkers, DeadByDawn, SeekAndDestroy,... to name a few. It was actually Zeylor, from DeadByDawn, that turned us on to the BIG scenarios. We consider DeadByDawn our inspiration team and play paintball with many of the members regularly. BTW, Knight Stalkers kicked butt at The Western Front and congrats to them on their well deserved Most Notorious Team.

 Unfortunately, not a single one can make it this weekend. We all have family stuff going on, that's why we played there this past weekend. However, we'll undoubtedly be at future scenarios....Thanks anyways...

It was my pleasure..It was probably me that gave you the info, since I'm the one that designed all the graphics and made the order...Look forward to meeting you all again, soon. We can't make the scenario next weekend at OA, but a few of us will be at Rainbow Six on Dec 2-3rd.....Hope to see you all there. Come by our tent and get warm by the fire!!!

Welcome to OA spud Always good to see some new teams at the field (both those that first form and those that travel from other areas) in the crowd You guys going to be at Battle of the Bulge this year?

Not this calendar year....We are winding up the year with Rainbow Six on Dec 2-3rd at Splatbrothers in Hopewell, VA....As soon as the 2007 scenario schedules come out, I will be posting our team schedule. We will undoubtedly have some OA scenarios on our schedule. Besides, we (Team OMM) have already agreed to split time between our home field and OA Paintball for walk-on/practice....

Ahhh Hogback....
The memories of all the uphill trudging and braking my foot in a rut on the "castle" field.
No but really, I do like it out there... I bet you guys are diggin the flatness of OA huh? Much easier to get around especially with wheelchairs ...
Oh yeah, Welcome to OA.
My team (Dead Ringers) was on the British side at Western Front, congrats on the MVT!

Oh man, you hit the nail on the head!!!  That trek up that hill kills me  . I hate it!!! I've been lobbying for a tram or something, but they never bite on the idea  .

Thanks so much...I remember you all from Narnia, too, I think...Are you all gonna be at Rainbow Six? If so, swing by our camp. There's probably only gonna be 2-4 of us, but we'll be sporting the fireplace again, I'm sure!!! Come by and get warm...

Yeah We were at Narnia too. I remember hearing you guys were there and for some reason thought your team had been around for a lot longer...
I'm not sure about Rainbow 6.
I love that field though... Maybe I can talk some of the guys into it.
Was that you guys with the chiminea at Western Front?
How did you guys like the last 2 games (Narnia and Western Front?)
