Land Mines
Can anyone tell me if it is legal/acceptable to use land mines at O.A.'s scenario games. I was talking to a guy I work with this morning who moved here from the mid-west who used to be really into paintball but lost interest for some reason (must have brain damage or something). He has Co2 powerd land mines that have to be stepped on to be activated, remote control Co2 mines kind of like claymors, trip wire Co2 claymors etc. that he said he would sell me since he does not use them anymore. Before I made him an offer, I wanted to see if the stuff was ok to use.

You may use the Mines provided they are of an approved design. Approved will not include use of a trip wire since it poses a hazard to players.
Also, you may not dig holes on the playing field.
Two major considerations are trip wires that might entangle or actually trip someone and the second consideration is the paint you are using. It may not stain!
Because I can't name each one and haven't seen many I'd suggest giving me more information at least a week in advance.

Thanks for the info Rob. If the guy I work with will bring them in and let me keep them for a day or two I will give you a call at the store and drop by and let you check them out before I by them from him.
I think I am becoming addicted to paintball. Might have to get a part time job to pay for my habbit.

Please don't tell my wife!!!! I already have one hobby, high performance speed boats and have two boats. She is bugging me to sell one if not both. If she knows I have another hobby, she will make me give up something
