Ion Solinoid
Old paint jammed one of my internal hoses, so i removed the metal solinoid houseing to try to replace the clogged hose, in doing so i damages the red solinoid coil and now my gun wont fire. Any sugestions on how to fix it? or should i just get a new board.

Re: Ion Solinoid
The solenoid is not intended to be removed from the circuit board by the customer/user. We at the store won't even remove them unless there are extreme circumstances. It is just too easy to damage things trashing the entire assembly. Smart Parts doesn't fix the component set either. They sell the entire board/solenoid assembly as a unit.
Fortunately, they don't gouge the customer as do some manufacturers with high prices. You can buy the assembly for $100.00 or less. Most manufacturers sell either part for that much. We have them in stock normally at our store in Baltimore.
