A low-res digital version of the 2009 Program Book is now available for download from the Schedule page at www.BabelCon.org, but it is still subject to change. An 8-1/2 x 11 professionally printed version will be available at the convention.

Re: BabelCon 2009

"BEWARE DARK POLLEN" read the halfling, staring at a rotting wooden sign. Alesia and the knights knew they has passed through the sinking forest, and were now in Dreadmire. The paladin said a quick prayer, before they silently moved forward into the Perdition...

Based in the campaign world of the popular Dreadmire role-playing game accessory, three-time Darrell Award winner, author Elizabeth Donald, takes its elaborate characters on a daring journey through the swamp: Kancethedrus, the clumsy paladin; Alesia, a voluptuous red-haired Creep; Angiss, the wise halfling prophet; Wynter, a lost elven druid; her lover Tam, a Moor Knight Knight gone rogue; and the dysfunctional elven wizard, Salia; all on a quest to destroy the legacy of the mysterious Witch Hammer. Harrowed by unspeakable dead things and a myriad of strange swamp monsters, an unwitting group of adventurers attempts to save the sinking forest they fearfully call, "Dreadmire".

Special edition prints available July 17th at BabelCon, where Elizabeth Donald appears as a guest. A digital version is already available at www.RPGNow.com. Print versions available in brick-n-mortar stores in August (Baker & Taylor distribution), and online at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and a digital version for Kindle.

Re: BabelCon 2009

Babelcon is proud to announce a private screening of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, July 17th at 10:30 pm, ONLY for Friday Babelcon attendees.

BabelCon badge-wearers should meet in the lobby of the Cook Hotel at 9:45 pm, in order to caravan to the movie theatre. Each person is responsible for the price of their movie ticket. Since this is a private screening, the location will not be made public before we arrive at the theater.
