Put mine together Tuesday, I'm getting sucked in deeper and deeper!! emoticon I wasn't going to buy any of these and now that its together it is off the chain!! WOW!!!!!!! I have the damaged on too. Man!! I would post pic's but there are to many talented photog's on here I would be shamed!! LOL!! Love this figure though!!

i'm having some serious trouble getting this pred's waist band to close up at the back- the one that comes with his metal pants. anyone else have trouble? i just can't get the clasps to reach.

will have to return mine at any rate - his shoulder armour arrived damaged. i just hope they have some in stock.

I didn't have a problem with it, but if you're having real difficulty I'd take it off again put in boiling water and VERY gently stretch it and then put it on again.
Is the loincloth skirt bit in the right position?

thanks for that jeff. mein gott this was the worst thing to put together. i'm just no good at this model kit crap! i left the waist thing unclasped - it doesn't seem to be a problem. managed to snap the elastic on BOTH knee pads, managed to ruin the netting on the right leg too and still don't think i have the shin pads on properly.

forbiddenplanet doesn't have anymore preds so i have to keep this one with the snapped shoulder cannon managed to precariously stick the shoulder cannon back on with some glue. don't think it'll last too long though.

what a nightmare. at least he looks like he's gone through a battle though. as do i.

As far as the shin armour goes, I put mine in rapidly boiling water till they were very soft (like rubber jelly) then pushed them on fast. Knee guards should be an easy fix.
For the cannon, do you have a modelers drill or dremmel? If so you could make a small hole in both ends of the broken part then put a small metal rod in (you get them cheap from bead and jewelry shops) or use an old spring bar from a watch strap. But I remember how fine that cannon arm was, might be worth a try though.

i used the hair dryer method for the shin pads but think i'm going to do the boiling water thing from now on. not sure i pushed them on quite far enough, which is making the left foot come off if i try too much extended movement.

thanks for the tip on the cannon - i don't have the tools but i'm going to look into getting them. sounds like it could be the best solution. the cannon hasn't dropped of yet from the glue but it's only going to take a little nudge. thank god we didn't have to build the endos. can you imagine? i'd have been left with an endo arm like the one they found in T2.
