Okay, I opened him, here are just some prelim shots I took:
The figure is designed to be customized. The flat green colour looks like it is meant to be weathered up a bit. There are multiple ports all over that you can attach shields, ammo boxes, even the clips that hold the grenades, etc. It comes with a bunch of little pegs you can stick into the holes when they are not in use.
As you can see in the pics, the suit stains the figure's face. The mask (not yet shown here) is small and cannot fit the figure's face. Instead, an extra small black mannequin head is included for the mask display. You can easily cut holes in the head and stuff it with LED lights, but I'm not going to mutilate mine. At least not just yet! The helmet does fit on Kai's head, though it's a bit of a tight fit (pics to come).
If you buy it, take the figure out right away and check the face to see if any dye is on it. I would recommend removing the head. If there's dye on the face, I wouldn't worry too much as I do believe it fades away on its own over time. The head sculpt is fine, it reminds me of the time when 1/6 figures were playable toys and not little miniature realistic art pieces.
The gun comes with a couple of ammo cases and these can attach to his belt or you can fit them on a small bracket which can be mounted on the sides of his rifle. However, the little pin on the bracket that is used to connect them to the rifle is VERY DELICATE. Mine has snapped already and I will need to glue it back together later on.
As you can see in my pics, he can hold the anti-tank cannon with one arm with the other arm holding the tripod for support like the earlier Protect Gear figures and their heavy weapons. Pretty sweet.
His other weapon is a Luger pistol, it fits nicely in the holster and there is a hand especially made to hold it. Speaking of hands... He comes with 9 NINE hands!
The green colour doesn't bother me in the least as it reminds me of the Spartan armour in Halo and it makes more sense as these guys would be out in the field so no need to be in black.
Wish he came with a little bit more, like a knife or field kit, but this is a really nice figure.
