"Cover Story" is a band which brings together three bands from the late 90s who were makin a lot of noise & were pretty popular in the Mumbai circuit back then.

Maria – ( Vocalist )

She has been singing in the professional circuit since 5 years and has performed with many a known musician. Her vocal range knows no limit and she has effortlessly adapted in setups of all genres. Her prime influences include Alanis Morisette, Fiona apple, Tracy Chapman, Delores O'Riordan, Andrea Corr, Melissa Etheridge etc.She used to rock places with her band “Perfect Harmony” who have done gigs all over the country including Bangalore and Chennai.
 
Gavin - ( Lead Guitars )

was handling the guitar duties of Mumbai’s premier pop-rock outfit - "Aquaflow". He played for “The Wild Side” which was one of the hottest bands in the early 90’s. He was part of Aquaflow which opened for big names like “Enrique” and “Bryan Adams” which was organized by DNA .Though he prefers classic rock ,he is highly influenced by Mark Knopfler ,David Gilmour , Gary Moore etc.

Lionnel - ( Rhythm Guitars/Vocals )

fronted "Psychomotor",one of Mumbai’s old school Metal Bands .Known for his versatile range and musicianship Lionnel also fronted Youthanium, an alternative outfit, who were consistently performing in Mumbai and Pune.Anshul was the pounder of this band before he went on to form “Admist the Chaos” which is pretty active in the circuit nowadays.His major influences include Megadeth, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Pentagram, Filter , The Crystal Method etc.
 
Merrill - (Bass Guitar)

 was a core member of "Naked Earth" – one of Mumbai’s leading Thrash Metal outfits right from its formation to its Glory days. He was also with "Earthclan" which consisted of a mixture of Old Naked Earth members and some new musicians covering Speed metal genres. Apart from being a stunning bassist, Merrill is a versatile musician who fancies playing almost all instruments. His influences include Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sepultura etc .He is the multi-talent of the band as he can play even the keyboard effortlessly and gracefully.


Vineet – ( Drums )

is an integral part of Xenon- one of the city’s finest and most versatile metal outfits. His drumming style mainly emulates that of Nicko McBrian (Iron Maiden), Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Nick Menza (Megadeth), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) and Dave Grohl (Nirvana). His choice however ranges from Old school hip-hop, mainstream pop to nu-metal. He fancies most the 80s Glam Rock / Hair Metal likes of Dokken, Europe, Ratt, Kix, W.A.S.P, Motley Crue, L.A.Guns etc. In the circuit he is consisdered to be one of the versatile drummers around
