Re: RAIT Unchained 2K7
Hey guys..i guess we should stop discussing bout unchained which we are done with.
aka "raat gayi baat gayi"
We all have different choices to make as far as what music we want to play.
If we "hate" a particular genre thats fine.. Atleast we can "Respect" the Musicians who try giving their 100% at each show!!
So.... keep

Re: RAIT Unchained 2K7
There was a problem with the band slots I agree...but then Rahul there were certain clauses that are bound to change!!..I agree I had told you about the chit-thingy...but then on the day, the other organizers disagreed to it and so did a few other bands..but whatever dude..you got a fair deal and so did others..so peace \m/
Never knew that few people here are overtly zealous and passionate about certain issues..writing long posts...damn i did miss out on a lot of heat!!
And no...the gig did not cater to metal-heads Parul....the non metal-heads left soon after Colossus..if you could'nt see the very few heads that were left in the arena.
The judge who was there, listens to a lot of non-metal stuff and does a lot of non-metal band recording...I can vouch for his impartiality
And those who said that they don't like PipeDream have said so because of the horrible sound...they have said that for all the bands irrespective
I am sure opinions will change when you guys play with better sound...
I didn't have money this time..don't ask how I managed to pay the winners !!!!
Hope the organizers of next year have money for better sound... [:P]
peace and cheers!!

Okay, slight correction... 'Silent Lucidity' didn't play metal. They played some grunge/alt. and some classic/ pop rock (U2 etc.). I suppose they were the band right after us. We were famished and we needed our vadapao and cutting chai We were on our way out when they got onstage, so I recall them very vaguely and don't know what else they played.
So yes, they were the only other band, besides ourselves, who didn't play death/thrash metal.
phew... atleast we were moved from metal/thrash/black.. etc to grunge/alt/classic/pop rock... hmm i am still wondering wat classic stuff we played!!! or were our originals classic rock!!!
@pagan - you can have my word we still played grunge/alt/classic/pop/original!!!!
