You know I was thereemoticon
It was a kick ass gig!
Taxiride were not as bad as some of the reviews say.
They were quite good infact...good pop rock stuff. Loved Tim's guitar work. (Fender Telecaster was his choice of guitar...simply brilliant stuff)
Jason was very good on the vocals and as a frontman for the band. Over all a very very good performance.

Pentagram!!!
******* man! They were brilliant!
It was good to see Vishal chilled out and loving the crowd. It was Pentagram and the crowd vs the world this time...rather than Pentagram vs the crowd.
It was fantastic. The fans loved every minute of the band's energy and performance and the band genuinely seemed to be loving doing what they do best...kicking ass Pentagram style.

In summation...it was a fabulous gig...and those who didn't make it there really missed out seeing a band at their best. (I am talking about Pentagram obviously)

Unfortunately my battery died and I was just about to get a few of Taxiride.
I can put them up if you all want it.

Okay then...check these out
(I will admit right away that these are not even near the kind of snaps that can be taken with my camera. I apologize for the bad quality...but well they're something. I was actually taking these by turning the power off and then on...and while it stayed on for like 3-4 seonds I was getting a snap in quickly. Hence the lack of focus and sharpness...no time to keep the camera steady. In any case...no more excuses...just see the damned picturesemoticon )

A big crowd turned up for Taxiride and Pentagram

That's it folks and then the battery konked off! And like a fool I took the same camera with the discharged battery to Junkyard Jam. Thanks to Anand (one of the C.O.R.E. guys, who got me some Duracell batteries...we got the 75 snaps you saw in that thread. Thanks for that pal.)

U did get to see a much more professional Pentagram this time around....

Pro in the sense that they went about playin music and thts it... not much time spend between tracks to speak their mind to the audience... I guess that has always been the case where vishal wd try and communicate to the crowd evry time they wd finish wth a track and that worked up the audience and ended up against them.He only spoke wen it was required to... The other members of the band as such went abt. doin things in a very pro way...

Guess they have worked on the set & learnt a few lessons after the last years debacle & i am sure 'vijay nair' had a role to play here...

Pentagram all the way emoticon

It's a crime to have a liking for Pentagram in this country... emoticon

Need to find a way to hate their music & i guess ultimately the band itself....

Otherwise me in BIG trouble....
