just got back from the concert....im still really really dazed....trying to figure out wat just happened..the show was simply awesome...the crowd turnout was easily 10,000-12,000...I was standing right upfront..the stage was brilliant man....After the first song Ian Gillan was clearly surprised by the crowd....saw him gesturing a thumbs up to the support staff...The best song i thought was "perfect stangers"...Steve Morse started off with slow solo..and the whole stage exploded suddenly with drums n opening riffs....He also did a sort of a opening riffs medley of ac/dc-back in black,stevie wonder-superstition,Gn'R-sweet child of mine..and some another one..the crowd went totally beserk during smoke on the water and highway star...after the band went off stage...the crowd started calling out to Deep Purple...after which they came back on and performed hush and blacknight...than was when the band let the crowd sing....Ian Gillan made my day when he pointed out to me during a guitar solo....and after the show Ian Paice threw out drumsticks to the crowd...one drumstick hit my hand and bounce off.....MAN I CAN'T BELEIVE I CUD HAVE HAD IN MY CUSTODY, THE DRUMSTICK THAT IAN PAICE ONCE USED......what a night...the best gig Bangalore has seen till date....the show totally rocked....
