COLLEGE FESTIVALS - POST JULY 2006


The College Festivals season is just starting off and things are gonna get crazy and a whole lotta fun soon.
SO here it is...an area just for you and your college.
If your college is having a KICK ASS festival...then discuss it here. Everything goes...discuss every aspect of the festival...and if you have a rock competition in your college that's just sweeter.
Let's kick off this season with a BANG!

Dude Malhar Unplugged happened today
I don't know our position,but we were pretty mediocre

and one bone-tickler---The most common song of today was Aadat by a paki band called Jal(WTF is wrong,Mumbai??)

Guys please post if u were there at da event today

Was there through the day, although I could only bear to step into the fusion event. The bands at the Am night auditions were pretty crappy. The fusion event rocked though. I was expecting some crap like Strings and stuff. But the event turned out to be a proper fusion event with guitars merging with veenas and the likes. The best bands were probably contingent number 6 and contingent number 8 (Behram's band). Number 6 rocked with their composition, something of a mix between the blues and rock and roll. Number 8 had a lady going nuts on the santoor, which was insane. I think more than the Am nights, people oughta try and make it for the Fusion events...

P.S: Thanks for posting, Gupta. You don't know how much value you add to the forums by giving us a glimpse of your wisdom...
