IIT's LIVEWIRE - DAY 2 REVIEWS

Livewire today was less of a disaster than yesterday. For starters they had 2amps on stage.

Most of the bands were CRAP.

Then a long gap.

Medusa game and the gayness began. **** they sounded just terrible with that jukebox. The guitarist (someone i thought had great potential) is playing CRAP through the entire set. I hated every note he played. Raxits vocals are a kind that i never liked (infact i prayed for a version of drip without vocals) but anyway today he was HORRIBLE (maybe i just dont like the rapping crapping screaming thing) The band to me is now aweful without their keyboardist and jai they sound flat that jukebox is the heart of the sound without which they have nothing. Atleast the old songs had some substance. Bring back the old medusa.

Bhayanak Maut was the band that got the crowd. Best crowd support and a very tight set. Rahuls pedal came off and stick broke but they rocked the place.

Zephyr played the same crappy chick covers. Their original was decent. Their playing was tight. A contender i feel.

those are teh bands that made an impression. Ofcourse not to mention that band with played Led Zep's 'Raped On My Way To Heaven'

oh yeah there was a band that did some pearl jam and their guitarist was decent. Band had potential.

Had fun playing with RD spoke ****, played ****..... complete ****.

For those who didnt get our song name it was "An anal incubus in which viking ships sail towards the rectum of hope through ****storms and dioreah where the vile stench of the rotting feaces is eminnent in puritanical form and everything smells like ****."

Hope they have Drego as always on the sound for the pro finals tommorow.

Dont want disasters to happen every now and then. They need to put that sponsorship money they boast of somewhere at least.....

Re: IIT's LIVEWIRE - DAY 2 REVIEWS

came in late...caught the last four bands

the sound wasnt half as terrible as ppl said it was on day 1 (i dint go for day1)
there were only normal choke ups by the sound guy and by the equipment...like the mics goi off...levels fluctuating like crazy.. the left speakers goin off and on
and hated the drum sound

first up medusa.... had hrd a lot bout these guys...but were seriously sad.. vox seemed as if he was tryin too hard.. even went off.. played recorded keybrd parts and lotsa stuff frm the groove box... overall totally sad

then came zephyr...female vox who was ok... guitarist played with a pod who had a constipated look on his face and seemed as if he dint like his own stuff.. but liked sme of his stuff.. this band looks as if its lost on stage... played tight and will probably make it to the finals if there is a 3rd slot

bhayanak maut... surely in the finals
vocal levels went like THERE and there and even went off...hated the sound guy for that
rahul was cool on the drums

reptilian death...ahhh...
no jokes if they wdve been even that much serious they surely wdve been in the finals..
sahil went on with sme really poor jokes
and u had pradeep.. man saw him in action after such a long time.. he played with sahils guitars and pod and still kicked arse with his solos..
they played trooper intro..
sme rd compositions which werent that gr8
god dethroned..which dint seem that tight
the fastest version of paranoid without vox and lead thruout

no regrets visiting iit..just hoped i cdve watched sme more bands

@sushan - RD was merely for entertainment we had 3 jams before the show and we were taking party merely to have fun. But on that note a serious and NEW RD will come together in the near future. I need to get my chops together.

BM's set owned. They're definitely in..

Wrote this on Demonic Forums:

OMFG! RD OWNED!

Of course, the 1 man band was a joke. Demonstealer was on drums and voxs, Husain on Bass and Pradeep (Infernal Wrath) on 'Lead' Guitars.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!!!!!

Hilarious, Awesome set

Started their set with a delight for every Maiden fan hahahaha.. a spoof of Trooper.

Played 2 awesome originals - Bathed in Blood and Second coming of Evil...

The highlight of their set was, OF COURSE, 'An anal incubus in which viking ships sail towards the rectum of hope through ****storms and dioreah where the vile stench of the rotting feaces is eminnent in puritanical form and everything smells like ****'. The ****ing Bass solo OWNED. They also covered God Dethroned's Nocturnal.

If it wasn't for the humor in this 'serious' competition, I'm sure they'd be into the finals...

Missed first 2 bands...that is redemption and salvation crusade?

Tower fan experiment:Was not good. But their oc sounded like they were covering a pearl jam song badly.well just parts of it reminded me of pearl jam...like lukin or something...they played stairway to heaven and someother stuff

Resonance:Liked the band. They did a decent original called Watertight. The guitarist broke his guitar string during the song. They were given enough time to change string coz there werent any bands after that.the 'big' bands were coming late like celebrities. They did alive-pearl jam pretty well. Then did Thunderstruck-AC/DC...this was the best in their set.the guitarist jason had good stage presence...all the angus young acts

Zephyr:was real tight. The guitarist akshay did seem like he didnt like the songs they were playing.

Bhayanak Maut:will mostly reach the finals...but didn't have that impact ...coz of sound probably.

Reptilian Death:was super fun.although they were not tight in 'An anal incubus in which viking ships sail towards the rectum of hope through ****storms and dioreah where the vile stench of the rotting feaces is eminnent in puritanical form and everything smells like ****'...should work on it.
