Description: IIT Kanpur presents Synchronicity,one of the biggest rock acts in the country!
Event Format: Competition + Headlining
Important Points To Be Noted: (*)Bands should bring their own equipments(guitars,leads,dist pads...etc).5-piece Drum set & stage amps to be provided by us. (*)Each band gets 25 mins onstage including soundcheck. (*)Cash prizes worth 50k! (*)Food & Accomodation to be provided & borne by the institute. (*)Smoking,alcoholic drinks or any intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited,on & off stage.No obsceneties would be tolerated.The institute reserves the right to disqualify any band for breaching the aforesaid rules. (*)Decisions of the judges would be deemed final and wouldnt be allowed to be questioned. (*)No compensation to be provided by the college in case of any damage to the equipments. (*)Only 1 person apart from the playing members of the band would be allowed to accompany the band. (*)Tentatively only 10 bands to be allowed to participate in the competition. (*)The bands eventually finalised for participation in the competition is upon the sole discretion of the organisers. Abe ****ers I have enough Delhi bands, one from kerala, and a few from bangalore, Pune,etc... Are Mumbai bands dead?! I'm leaving 3 slots open for you guys. We're having only 10-12 bands in total! Will wait for a few more days, and then I'll fill in those slots. I was hoping to bring some real good Mumbai bands out there to Kanpur! Do help out guys...
