Rock Competition @ IIIT, Pune. Win Rs.30000/- on 8 February 2008
Band Warz: The Rock competition
A one of its kind event in the country, this event promises to be the ultimate showdown between the best Rock bands. Cash prize of Rs 30,000/- to the Winning Band and Rs. 20,000/- to the runner up.
Timing: 1800 hrs onwards
Time granted per band: 25mins (playing time) + 10 mins (sound check)
Venue: Open Air Theatre, I2IT – Pune
Date: 8 February 2008
The bands will perform in front of Best of industry judges and 3,000 strong audiences. The prizes will be decided on the basis of performance, vocal, coordination of the entire team, clarity, energy, overall impact and crowd pulling ability.
Note:
• The registration should be confirmed by 1 February 2008 by sending us the DD of Rs 1000/- in the name of “International Institute of Information Technology, Pune”, payable at Pune.

• Mention all the details of all Band members in order to make the appropriate arrangements for stay.
• Limited entries, on first come first serve basis only.
• Drums and keyboard will be provided by us and rest instruments will be taken care by the Band.
• The Band will be provided free accommodation and food facility for the entire 3 days event.
• There are no restriction on the kind of genre. A mix of cover and originals can be played.
• The playing time might vary according to the number of teams participating. The rules can be changed without prior notice.
