SYMPHONY 2007
The Rules for the Am band contest for the participant bands are as follows:
1) Only the drumkit will be provided. The rest of the instruments will have to brought by the participants.
2) Original compositions will be given more weightage.
3) 20 Minutes stage time will be given during the elimination round.(including the soundcheck)
4) 25 Minutes stage time will be given during the final event. (including the soundcheck)
5) Bands that will play songs with abusive or vulgar lyrics will be disqualified.
6) Deathmetal and Hard Rock numbers are not allowed. Alternative and Classical rock music is allowed.
7) Indi Music bands can also participate.
8) Maximum number of participants allowed is 7 and Minimum number of participants allowed is 4.
9) Only Hindi and English numbers are allowed.
Apart from this the finalist bands will get to play in the OAT during the pronite where the winners will be decided. After the finals the pronite star will perform. I cant say anything about the prize money for now since i need to confirm the sponsorship for the event but i plan to keep about 10 or 15k as the 1st prize. Maybe 8 to 10 K for the 2nd prize and something lesser for the 3rd accordingly. The event eliminations will be on the 2nd February from 4 pm to maximum 9 pm on the trailer mostly and the final round on the pronite stage will be on the 4th of February starting at 5 pm.

Elims on the 2nd from 4 pm onwards and the finals on the pronite stage from 5 pm onwards.
The finalist bands will open for the pronite star.
