If you want to read an inspiring story centred on the woman's struggle for the right to vote, then " A questoion of courage" is for you. It follows the story of Emily Palmer, caught between the struggle of fighting for the vote and fitting in. Encouraged by the fierce suffragette, Louisa, she joins the campaign but does not foresee the horrific events to come, including hunger strikes, organised marches turned to riots and terrible violence. Read it! (helps for year 9 history). Name of Author will come as soon as I can be bothered to pick up my copy of the book and remember it.

I'VE READ A dIRK gENTLY Right now, I am juggling "The Hobbit", "What Katy did next", "Feather Boy" and "The Salmon of Doubt" (Very funny- I highly recommend).
What Katy did next is funny because she is American and goes to England. She can't understand why there are nearly allways grey clouds (but not allways rain) and she seems to think we speak like this:
"H'I'm h'interested to know what's on the h'other side of the h'hill".
I'm not aware we speak like that.

a) find time to read a book
b) manage to be reading over one book at a time
c) remember practically everything about the book
and
d) become the president of the world
The last one is not related to this topic and so any ideas or pointers wouyld be welcome
