For Christmas
I found this poem that I wrote when I was either 13 or 14. I can't think of anything else to do with it, so might as well post it!
(the flow is messed up here and there but I don't wanna change it.)
This Christmas
Cascading slowly, tears fall down,
They rain upon a fallen crown.
A star, A star, their guide of light,
It shined so high, it shown so bright.
As they followed the star, up so high,
Another tear fell from the sky.
A crown had fallen upon the earth,
Coming down, with humble birth.
But why do tears come, why it cries,
The tears from high that fall from skies?
Upon the stars his future told,
He can not stay long, never grow old.
The people, us, did seal his fate,
He saved our souls before 'twas late.
And on this Christmas, tears will be shed,
Though not in sadness, but joy instead.
People around you, people who care,
And forever he is with you, forever he'll be there.

--- I will dance I will sing To be mad For my King Nothing Lord Is hindering This passion in my soul And I'll become Even more undignified than this Some may say It's foolishness But I'll become Even more undignified than this
