 My poem to God
My poem to God is hard to write,it didn't just come to me overnight.I didn't know him most of my life,I found him only recently thru Ben and my wife.
Before I met him life was a bore,I knew he was knocking but I wouldn't open the door.I've never had true christian friends,it really helped my heart to mend.
Now I speak of God where ever I go,and I notice some people just don't want to know.They speak of God when they are mad,not knowing Satan was the feeling they had.
I use to be one of them,always waiting for what was next.And when I had my back to the wall,it wasn't God's name I'd call.Finally,it came to my rock bottom end,that's when God started my life again.
But when I praise him above all men,I look around only to find sin.I'm only human I am told,still,I hate to see it unfold.As in Romans verse fifteen,not understanding,I do what I hate,only through faith can I handle this weight.
God is so awesome,in his way.That is why I wrote this poem,on his beautiful day.
This poem I wrote soon after accepting Christ,some five and a half years ago. :rose

I really like your style! Saying a lot with few words is very good writing.
