A Neighbor
Yesterday morning, Early Morning about 6am, A neighbor came to my house and the first thing he said, "I am lost and need help" in tears. I was totally shocked, but very grateful that God chose my home as a place for this man to seek the truth. I was truely humbled.This man and I have much in common, we are both musicians that play in bands, I play for the Lord, Praise and worship and he plays secular rock type music. May the 7th weekend my band played a Sunday night worship service at a Lutheran Church(we crossed the denomination line and it was awesome) and I invited my Neighbor, HE SHOWED UP! I believe that God touched this man that night. His facial expressions were telling me this. I am praying very hard for this man, that he may open is eyes and his heart and let the lord come in. He will be at my home tommorrow for BBQ and fellowship with the other members of my band and their families.As musicians we have much in common and he will be in a very comfortable setting. I pray that our common interest will go much further than music. Yall help me and pray that the lord grabs him and changes his life forever. Amen! God is great! The most touching part of this whole thing is that the Lord chose me to help this man. Amazing and what an honor. I am soooo thankful to God.

This guy has no idea what he's in for! I mean, he gets the best bbq that side of the "big pond" and fellowship with a kewl Christian, hehehe.

Thanks guys for the kind remarks, That is the first time God has put me in that position and I guarantee you he was right there with me.
I am still a baby Christian, but God gave me the words I needed to help this man. It was soooo awesome. If God ever needs me again like that I will be ready.

Yes, there is Winkks, Thanks for asking. This guy is making great progress. He was struggling with a controlled substance, that for now, he is defeating.(He has a long road ahead of him) He is attending Church pretty regular, not every week but much better than before. His late nights with his band has ceased. His family life is improving. All is looking good right now. Our ties to music really gives us something in common, and I have been sharing my Christian music with him. Just last week I bought David Crowder's new Cd, because of 1 song they play on K-love. It really wasn't my style of music, but it was right up his alley. I Gave the CD to him and he loved it. Listens to it over and over. I continue to pray that God keeps on him and he(the guy) continues to seek God.
We must crawl before we walk, and he is crawling right now, maybe soon he will be running.
