God is a God of Invitation
Take a look at Isaiah 55:1. Didnt Jesus say "Come unto Me and I will give you rest?"
And I also see that God invited Noah into the ark, where He was. Isn't that a great picture of salvation?
Best of all, look at Revelation 22:17. You know the qualifications for coming to Him? You must be thirsty and you must be willing.
What are other references besides these, where God openly invites people to receive His blessing?

…
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened ... If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" (Matthew 7:7-11)

Jam 1:5
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
