Jean Raper
March 22, 1958 / January 23, 2004
Before her illness our sister Jean served Chatterbox with commitment and joy just as she served her family and the Lord. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She faced her trials with remarkable grace, and as the verse below says... she inherited the kingdom. Hallelujah!
And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way:
Bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
Being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves,
In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Colossians 1:10-14

Hi sweet people!
It is time again when people around our country become thankful. Or at least, more people show their thanks during this time. But this year, I have more to be thankful for than I can truely understand!!
God is blessing us with a new grandbaby to arrive next April.
God has held me up through 2 surgeries in a month and a half time span.
God is showing me more people to share Him with, both as christian sisters and brothers, and as ones to witness to.
My children are fine christian citizens who are raising my grandchildren in the Lord.
well, my list goes on and on. I just want to Thank my Heavenly Father for his mercy and love for me.

First, I know I am late, but.... I'd like to welcome all the new members we have recently gotten. It is great to meet more of my Christian family. You will find this group to be very supportive, loving, caring, and yes, funny. God has surely blessed us with some sisters and brothers that know how to be a blessing to each other. Good morning brothers and sisters!
Jeremiah says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you, not to harm you! Plans to give you hopw for a future!!" What greater promise can we claim??? We often go about living our lifes as happy little clams with no problems, and no cares in our world. Other people have health issues, other people have bad things happen, but nothing ever happens to us. We are exempt!! God loves us.
Well, wake up. Sometimes we do have bad things happen to us we do develope health issues, things do go wrong!! But What we do have that some do not, is a loving Father God who will see us through these times. He will give us the strength we need to face our situations. Yes, He can, and does heal, but in His time, in His way. what ever trials you face, be assured, God knows and cares about them. He may even use your problem to reach someone that nobody has been able to reach as of yet.
I have been praying for a miracle as many of you know, and the miracle I wanted has not come about. But God has given me the assurance that He is with me, holding my hand, crying my tears with me, and will see me through. He has a miracle for me, but He has not revealed it to me yet.
I won't ramble on any longer, but I felt the need to share with you what God is doing for me!!! God Bless you all,

This is the day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice, and be glad in it....even when:
I have overslept and my daughter calls me on her cell phone to tell me she is on my porch and i haven't heard the doorbell!
My grandaughter cries like her heart is breaking when mommy leaves for work!
All of he toys, which are usually in the family room, have migrated to the living room.
It is 2:00 pm and i just remember that i have not set anything out for dinner!!!
But, I know for sure that God loves me and will take care of all my small problems. I know that because He takes care of my big problems.
Oh what a day!! Yes, What a golrious day the Lord has given me.
May you be richly blessed this day in whatever way you need it most.

Just had to share this with you all! My daughter is expecting her 3rd baby next April. And we are excited around here. Her 3 year old told her the other day that she wants to see the baby NOW. Her 6 year old told the 3 year old, "well you can't. it isn't ready yet!" The 3 yr old wondered why, and the 6yr old told her "God is still making it" I loved it!!! Kind of makes me wonder if we as adults try to understand things too deeply sometimes.

I just wanted to thank each one of you. You are a very fine and special group of christians. I had prayed for someone...anyone....that I could connect with for fellowship and prayer. With my health issues, I can no longer drive myself, or do many things I was once able to do. Many nights, long after my hubby is asleep, I am alone!! No, I know God is with me, but I feel alone. And those nites, when I come here and find you all, I am uplifted. It is a joy to serve Him with you all. I just wanted you to know that you are special to someone.........ME
