Drag Race Fun with a Free Old Rusty Bug This is the story of Bugula. Got it for free. Spray painted and raced it. Home built 1641cc engines. Fisrt with a Holley Bugspray ans mystery cam. Later with dual 40mm Dellortos and a VZ-15 cam(too small). Stock size valves with a home port job. Fun car! Less fuss than racing my 11 sec. Dune Buggy.

My Dad having fun. Sometimes, I would race the buggy and he would tow me in the pits, with the Bug.
14.79 was the best time w/slicks. I raced it more often with radials, running in the 15's.
Advanced Trophy class.
I won Import Eliminator twice.
It was later sold to the Pocaro VW racing family. They raced it and later sold it to a guy in L.I. Then it came back to NJ again, I think.
