Help Finding Custom CSS, HTML, and CLS
I'll explain how to change your layout, first with words then I will post some screen shots.
Before beginning please make sure you have your board set to custom mode (details on this are located here).
First you will need to click on the control panel link on a board, there you will see a drop down menu that says: 'You have special access to these boards:' This takes you to your Board Management Panel all you need to do is select the board you are wanting to edit from the drop down box, and click on the manage button.
To Change your CUSTOM CSS:
In your board management panel, you will see several different 'tabs'. To change your custom CSS click on the tab that says: Edit layout/colors of your board Once you click on that page you will go to a page I call: Customize colors and layout settings
There you will see two more 'tabs' Above all the color settings. They will say Manage Custom style Sheet (CSS) and Manage Custom HTML Content
Click on the tab that says Manage Custom style Sheet (CSS) and that is your CUSTOM CSS area. If you want to change your whole board to a skin Just remove anything that is already in your CSS, and copy and paste the skin's CSS into the custom CSS area.
To Change your CUSTOM HTML:
You will find the custom HTML tab right but the Custom CSS Tab. There, you will see the custom HTML area is divided into HTML header, and HTML footer. You would put the HTML header code, in the HTML header, and the HTML footer code into the HTML footer, obviously.
To Change your Customize colors and layout settings for my board::
All of the colors settings are what you see when you first click on the Edit layout/colors of your board tab. Just edit the colors according to what the skin code says.
To Change your CUSTOM LANGUAGE SET::
Once you are at the Board management control panel you will see a tab that says: Customize Language Set You will need to click on that and change the texts according to what the skin code says.
All I've said in screen shots.:
Click on control panel
Select board to Manage
Select Edit layout/colors tab
Custom CSS TAB
Custom HTML TAB
Customize colors and layout settings
Custom Language Set Tab

Re:
WE have the Blue Halcyon skin on our NPD recovery forum. An admin left and deleted all her stuff before leaving and put the left hand side list down at the bottom.
We need to move it back to the left hand side bar, and fill the topics back in.
What do we need to insert into the HTML custom style sheet in order to move those topics back to the left hand side bar?
Thanks so very much!!

Re: Help Finding Custom CSS, HTML, and CLS
Hi Had,
It took a bit of work, but it's all fixed now. Please save a copy of your html and css, in case it happens again.
Is there anything else we can help you with?

Re: Help Finding Custom CSS, HTML, and CLS
Thanks, Rick.
This bit was missing at the beginning of the html footer:
quote: </div></div></div>
<div id="nav">
I just re-added it, along with some comment tags to show what those three </div>s are for.
